Jean-Baptiste Thiebaut

Jean-Baptiste holds a PhD from the Centre for Digital Music. He started his career as an engineer before moving into business development at Focusrite and then ROLI, where he led buy-side acquisitions of JUCE, FXpansion, and Blend.io.

He has since worked sell-side on JUCE, ADC, and BFD, and advised on the sale of Chirp.io to Sonos. He consults with Muse Group and spent six years on the executive board of the MIDI Association.

He founded Chordline Ventures in 2024. The firm has taken on seven engagements to date, with three active mandates currently in progress.
